Special Edition Report: Introducing Savage Race Syndicate

posted in: Special Edition Report | 1

If you remember from my recent report I mentioned about the Savage Race Syndicate, well Savage Race released all the details earlier this week about the program. They refer to it as a “loyalty program” to reward those that compete in two or more events in a calendar year. You get a pretty sweet reward after completing your second race too. Those who complete their second race will get the huge and I mean huge Savage Syndicate medal and special pins for the race locations. Example, I did the race in Maryland and will complete the second race in Pennsylvania so I’ll get a Maryland and Pennsylvania pin. Oh yeah, I also get another finisher medal too. So tons of SWAG for my efforts. It’s a pretty sweet deal and one that you should take advantage of this year. For each race you complete after your second one you’ll get an additional Savage Syndicate medal, state pin and finisher medal. You can pick up some serious metal from Savage Race. I’m really excited about this program because it’s attainable, won’t cost a lot of money and encourages trying new event locations. I’ve done the Maryland race twice and now I’ll be doing the Pennsylvania race for the first time. It should be a lot of fun.

Let’s talk about the medal. It’s 15.7″ in circumference and 5″ in diameter. The middle of the medal spins on a pendulum. It’s one of the only medals I’ve seen out there that has a moving component. You’ll definitely want to display this with pride. Hopefully I have something strong enough to hold it.

I plan on pinning the state pins on each of the finisher medals I receive. Maybe one day I’ll be able to collect them all.

A lot of people have been asking “where do you pick up the medal and pins?” Following your second event there will be a Syndicate tent you will visit to get the medal. They will have all the race records on file and issue you your medal and state pins. Yes, it’s that easy.

I’ll be one of the first people in the Savage Race community to get the Savage Syndicate medal this year. Stay tuned for June 25th. I’ll have plenty of photos to share.
